Solvi was once a loyal soldier for the Stormcloak faction. Trained as an archer from the time she could hold a bow in her hands, she became famous for her ability to hit targets from extreme range. During her service to the Stormcloaks, something happened that changed her outlook on the faction and the war. She disappeared for a time, but when she returned rumors began to circulate about where she had been during her absence.
Solvi had gone to train with a secret squad of archers known as The Heartbow Rangers. Their purpose in Skyrim remains hidden, but it was clear that Solvi learned even more about archery from this mysterious group. She now roams Skyrim helping people in need. Rumors have surfaced that Solvi earned her heart tattoo on her face by becoming one of the most proficient Heartbow Rangers.

Essential, won’t break stealth, can be married
Solvi is very strong at low levels. As you level up with her, she will balance out. Archers are usually easy targets for strong melee enemies. I have put skills and perks into all my Heartbow Rangers to give them a fighting chance when just using their bow. That said, they can use one-handed weapons - they just aren’t as effective with them.
