Solga grew up with a younger sister that was shunned and bullied due to being different from other orcs. She protected her sister, Guzmara, as much as possible from the relentless trouble other orc children caused her. Fortunately, Solga herself was considered a “normal” orc and left alone. As she grew older she realized even she was different from her peers. She felt a strange presence with her at all times, guiding her and helping her. She learned the art of combat easily and excelled with the magical art of Restoration.

When Solga felt the time was right, she took her younger sister to the College of Winterhold to help her escape her unhappy life among the other orcs of the stronghold. Solga promised to return for Guzmara when the time was right. Now alone, she decided not to return to her home but instead sought an answer to the presence that had guided her. She visited with mages and priests across Skyrim until finally discovering the answer herself one night while praying. Stendarr had been her patron all along. As a young teen she entered the ranks of the Vigilants of Stendarr and furthered her training. Specializing in mace and shield, she quickly learned to wield the powers Stendarr granted her to further the goals of her deity.
At the completion of her training, she was placed among The Crusaders, the knightly Order dedicated to the Temple of Stendarr, the Crusaders were tasked with protecting His Temples and acting as his blade when the situation demanded. Solga was last seen camped at Stendarr’s Beacon and talked of keeping the promise she made to Guzmara - to return when the time was right for them to be at each other’s side.
