Sigrun is a Valkyrie from Sovngarde that Talos cast out due to her failure to protect the Chosen of Talos, Vulkus. For many years she did her duty, watching over the young hero and even falling in love with him from a distance. She was not permitted to show herself to Vulkus, and was only allowed to guard him from her spirit form. She would alter fate at times, to see to his protection, all with the support of Talos.
It was when Vulkus found the abandoned prison and rescued the vampire imprisoned there that Sigrun knew she had failed in her charge to protect The Chosen of Talos. The young man had been smitten by the vampire’s beauty the moment he saw her. Sigrun had even resorted to appearing in spirit form to convince Vulkus to leave the girl in the cell, and although he was surprised at the Valkyrie’s appearance, he refused to let the girl remain imprisoned. He released the vampire, known as Valentina, and the two escaped the prison. Sigrun could only watch from the spiritual world as the two became friends, and then lovers.
Talos recalled Sigrun to Sovngarde and berated her for her failure to properly guide Vulkus. His fate had now changed and was wrapped together with this vampire. He would never know the greatness his former fate held for him. In the time of Sigrun’s absence, a platoon of the Silver Hand attacked the couple and Vulkus was killed while defending Valentina. Sigrun was just returning as the battle was nearing its end, to discover The Chosen dead, as expected, and the vampire surrounded by enemies.
Sigrun was torn in that moment, but once again, she broke the rules of her kind and took physical form, standing in all her glory before The Silver Hand warriors and protecting the vampire whom Vulkus had loved. As she slew all of them, she felt once again the call of her lord, Talos, and returned to Sovngarde for her punishment, leaving a stunned and devastated Valentina.
“For your misguided actions I have no choice but to banish you from Sovngarde. Henceforth, you shall be mortal and returned to Skyrim, to live among the people you failed. For because of your actions, there may be no champion to save Skyrim in its time of need.” A wave of his hand and a flash of light later, Sigrun was standing at the same spot she had recently departed, with the crying vampire at her feet. She reached down and took her hand, and Valentina looked up into her eyes, as both women cried tears of sorrow from their loss. Together they would avenge their loved one and protect Skyrim themselves - GODS BE DAMNED.

Sigrun is now a Mortal, but still retains a lot of her Valkyrie abilities and Talos saw fit to let her keep her sword and shield.
Essential, won’t break stealth, can be married.

Special Perks
Talos’ Blessing: Within 5 feet of the player take 50% less damage from swords and axes and blocking becomes 50% more effective.
Special Weapons
Straffer (Sword): Does 30 Shock Damage, change to paralyze, and chance to cause fear to a target.
Shield of Talos: Provides 35% resistance to Frost, Shock, and Fire.
