To trace the history of Sasana, you must first go back many generations ago, to the continent of Yokudo, and the city of Hammerfell. Therein lived a Redguard warrior woman of peerless skill who had risen up from the ranks of a lowly peasant to captain of the King’s guard. The King’s enemies despised the warrior woman and went to great lengths to separate her from the King. A enemy necromancer summoned demonic Dremora to slay the woman. Cornered, she managed to kill all the Dremora sent against her except one. The final Dremora was a prince among his kind. He captured and abused the warrior, leaving her to die in the streets of Hammerfell. She survived the assault but fled the city in disgrace. Not long after, she discovered she was with child. After she bore the girl child she abandoned the infant at a temple.

The priests who found the child were instantly troubled. It was clear this was no normal child. Unsure of how to handle the situation, the priests decided to enlist the aid of a local mage. They soon discovered the child was born with certain powers that were demonic in nature. Rather than slay the infant outright, they decided to weaponize her against their own enemies. They raised the child and trained her in the art of magic and archery. When the child became a woman, she escaped the temple and followed her demonic nature, terrorizing the continent. She too bore a child and the bloodline continued after that in a similar cycle, with each child a little less corrupted by the blood and nature of the original demonic father.
Sasana was born from this bloodline twenty-four years ago. As she grew older, she learned pieces of her family’s past and grew determined to make a change. She vowed to overcome her Dremoran blood and redeem her family in the eyes of the gods. She would use the tainted-blood for good. She trained from a very young age in magic and archery. She became an enemy of all evil, but especially demons and the undead. She traveled to Skyrim after hearing about the threat of dragons reborn. As she reached Morthal, she discovered something strange going on in the town and was determined to find the cause.
Recently, Sasana has been seen in the company of the Heartbow Rangers. Some say that she may even be accepted into their ranks in the near future.
