When Guzmara was born, it was clear that she was different from the rest of her kin. She was smaller, and oddly colored, but what stood out the most was the gleam of intelligence in her newborn eyes. As she grew older she was ostracized from the other orc children and bullied. That was until her sister, Solga, found out and beat the offenders mercilessly. Guzmara’s sister was always by her side, protecting her and encouraging her to follow her heart.

Guzmara had a deep love for knowledge, history, and magic. Her clansman told stories of how the child never forgot anything she saw or heard and could repeat these things in the exact original detail from only one viewing. Her parents and sister would bring books from all over Skyrim to Guzmara, and she would sit and study them every day, reading most of them so quickly that she was always looking for more. She was far more wise than many of the older orcs of her clan and it was fear of her growth that made the elders expel her from their lands. Her sister, now a warrior grown herself, escorted Guzmara to the College of Winterhold and left her there to study in The Arcanaeum. She quickly surpassed all the other scholars with her ability to learn. She learned many languages, some even the greatest scholars of Tamriel had trouble learning.
Once the Archmage of The College realized her potential he recruited her into a secret sect he simply called, “The Scholars.” She was trained in many different arts related to archeology, linguistics, alchemy, enchanting, history, and anything that would help the college gather information in pursuit of absolute knowledge. She was sent to far corners of the continent to research, help political issues, and stop dangerous events from occurring by assisting others with her knowledge.
