Bliss is a distant relative of the famed Saint Jiub, the Dunmer hero celebrated for driving the cliff racers from Morrowind. Although she never met Jiub personally (he lived generations earlier), Bliss carries a sense of pride—and sometimes the weight of expectation—because of her famous bloodline. People occasionally assume she’s destined for greatness, which both flatters and frustrates her.
Her father was a traveling spellsword-turned-mercenary who specialized in escort missions (protecting merchants on the Gold Road, for example). Intrigued by the craft, Bliss followed in his footsteps. Under his guidance, she began training in both martial and arcane arts very early on.
